Heritage Highland Ranch was founded from a simple dream: to create a place where heritage, hard work, and healing come together beneath Montana's big skies.

 

What began as a passion for homesteading and livestock grew into a vision rooted in Scottish tradition and Western values. Inspired by the rugged beauty of the Scottish Highlands and the enduring spirit of the American frontier, we set out to build more than a ranch—we set out to build a legacy.​

 

As a veteran-owned family operation, we believe in stewardship of the land, responsible animal husbandry, and preserving heritage livestock breeds for future generations. Our ranch is home to Highland cattle, Scottish Blackface sheep, Shetland poultry, quail, and other carefully selected livestock that reflect our commitment to quality, sustainability, and tradition.​

 

But the Heritage Highland Ranch is about more than livestock. It is about reconnecting with simpler ways of living, learning traditional skills, and finding purpose in the rhythms of the land. Through our handcrafted products, farm-raised offerings, educational experiences, and veteran wellness programs, we strive to create opportunities for others to experience the same sense of peace, purpose, and connection that homesteading has brought to our family.​
